Most of today's youth players are demanding bats that are lightweight to allow for top barrel control and high swing velocities. This drop 5 bat, with its 2 5/8 inch barrel diameter, will be perfect for a player participating in their final seasons of USSSA baseball. It will still give you the extra jolt of USSSA performance, but the drop 5 length-to-weight ratio will make it feel close to the heavier bats that your player will use in the future. As well, the 2 5/8 inch barrel diameter is the same size as what will be used once you graduate from the USSSA baseball ranks.
